THE ELITE PERFORMANCE TRAINING SYSTEMS STORY.

Every athlete has a story. Some stories are filled with countless examples of triumph and victory while others are filled with stories of pain and adversity. Regardless of the athlete or his/her story, there’s one thing that they all usually share in common… the ending. As athletes, we know that inevitably, one day our playing career will come to an end. With that in mind, we know that it’s up to us to do anything and everything that we can to maximize the opportunity that we have to be an athlete.

My story is no different than millions of other athletes. Its filled with ups and downs, highs and lows. From championship celebrations with teammates to truly introspective moments after surgery where I ask myself how much longer can my body endure what I’m putting it through, I’ve been through it all as an athlete. Through those high and lows, I was fortunate enough to have moments of clarity that allowed me to see my true purpose. Moments that showed me that my purpose in sport was meant to be fulfilled on the coaching side and not the playing side. Those moments were so clear that when my career as a competitive athlete came to an end in 2011, my vision for what would become known as Elite Performance Training Systems was already established. I envisioned a place where athletes could prepare to be the best versions of themselves. A place that gave each athlete the individualized attention that they needed to take their game to the next level. A place that embodied the culture of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.

In 2013 my vision came to fruition and I officially opened Elite Performance Training Systems.

Sports Science

From assessments, to programming, to recovery, we incorporate the latest advancements in sports science technology and software to take our athletes’ performance to the next level. Here are some of the sports science features within our program:

Nutrition

The overwhelming majority of results come from how we approach our plate and overall nutrition. This is why we have a network of Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists to assist with our athletes needs.

Mental Skills Training

An athlete’s mental skills and internal processes powerfully impact their performance emotions, behaviors, and external outcomes.

Mental performance training is strength and conditioning for the mind that optimizes athlete well-being and performance.

Mental performance training equips athletes with the mental skills they need to conquer the mental barriers that hinder them from consistently performing at their highest level.

The ability to stay poised under pressure, manage thoughts and emotions, maintain consistent confidence, hone laser focus, get in “the zone” and quickly bounce back from setbacks are all mental skills that enable an athlete to maximize performance and fulfill their potential.

Performance Training

We understand the difference between training and working out. Our training programs have purpose and direction. Using science based methods and principles, our programs are designed to build you up and help you reach your goals.

Sports performance training is training designed specifically to increase performance and minimize injury for general sports performance as well as specialized sports performance. Sports performance training is different from fitness and bodybuilding training in that the end goal is not to look better or have better over all health, but to improve athletic performance specifically. Generalized sports performance training focuses on improving generalized skills like muscular strength, core strength, balance, stability, coordination, hip, ankle, and shoulder mobility and stabilization, and improved motor skills or the ability to move with skill.

Recovery Services

We firmly believe that your recovery efforts must match the level of training. Our facility is fully integrated with everything the athlete needs to recover from today so they can dominate tomorrow.
